Join us on April 2nd for Black Hawk County 4-H’s 23rd Annual Omelet Breakfast!
The event is open to the public and offers Made-To-Order Omelets, Pork Sausage, Hash Browns, Cinnamon Rolls and more with a side of great 4-H servers.
4-H members will be cooking omelets, serving food and beverages, and setting tables from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Omelet Breakfast is a unique opportunity for members to learn management decision-making skills, teamwork, and social skills as they volunteer and mingle with community members. Club leaders will also be present during breakfast shifts to coordinate their members and network.
The breakfast is at the UAW Hall in Waterloo. You can purchase tickets from a Black Hawk County 4-H Member or at the door. Cost for tickets is as follows: Under 5 (Free), Youth 6-10 ($2.00), Adults $7.00).
Additionally, Black Hawk County 4-H County Council Members will be hosting a Bake Sale and Silent Auction to raise funds for 2017 Fair Premiums.
Proceeds from the breakfast support the Black Hawk County 4-H program by providing scholarships to youth, sponsoring educational workshops and volunteer trainings, as well as supporting the Black Hawk County 4-H and FFA Fair.
