4-H Junior Camp Offers a Unique Experience

Here is your dose of trivia for the day! Are you ready?

Where can you find canoeing, new friends, and a one-of-a-kind opportunity for fourth-sixth graders?

The answer is simple with Black Hawk County 4-H!

Region 9 4-H Counties (Black Hawk, Butler, Bremer, Grundy, Tama, and Grundy) are holding their annual 4-H Junior Camp once again this year! The camp is June 16-17th at Camp Pine Lake in Eldora, Iowa.

The purpose of this fun, overnight camp is to expand team-building activities while providing the opportunity for participants to learn new skills and spend time with the great outdoors! Members will have the opportunity to take part in archery, crafts, canoeing and more!

The camp also provides time for creation of county fair 4-H projects. With the help of Region 9 4-H Staff and Camp Counselors, fourth-sixth grade 4-H members will meet new friends and enjoy the unique camp experience.

To register, contact the Black Hawk County Office for Extension and Outreach or send in the application form before May 26! You can find the official event information by visiting our 4-H website!
